Is it normal to suck on contacts?

I personally do not have contacts. However, I've seen one person suck on em, then pop em back in their eyes. Then heard of someone else doing it. I find it repulsive. But I am curious. Contact wearers of IIN, how many of y'all suck on your contacts to clean them?

    That's fucking disgusting. You have a special bottle to clean them. No need to do that.

    i wore em in the 90s and never did that

    i had spray cans fulla saline for rinsin and the much more expensive storage solution
