Is it normal to take pride in getting a good grade on kid's homework?

I help kids with their homework (or sometimes I just do it all myself basically) and I check the grades they get and any teacher comments and I take a lot of pride in the grades.

I'm a college grad, btw. The homework I help with is anything from 1st grade to 11th.

I got a 101 today for a shoebox diorama I did about dinosaurs!

Is this normal at all?

What? You are doing kids homework and taking pleasure from the grades as though they were yours? Aren't you supposed to be helping them do their homework - not doing it for them?
