Is it normal to talk to inanimate objects?

I usually only do this when I'm frustrated with an inanimate object.
For example, if my computer is acting up, I will threaten it and demean it as if that will make it straighten up and act right. I know of course that this won't make a difference, but it's a good way to release my frustration.
Another example would be the other day at work, the wind was blowing over these trees (I work at a nursery) and I got angry and began to tell the trees that no one was going to buy them, and that I was going to set them on fire.

Lol this is kinda funny. (no offense). But yeah I've done this a few times too. Sometimes when I'm skateboarding, I would get so frustrated with a trick and quietly insult my skateboard. (Don't want people to think I'm a freak). And I would sometimes kick it hard.
