Is it normal to talk to your cat like it's a baby

Of course it's normal. Cats are awesome :)

I say stupid shit and make nonsense noises to ALL cats. I just see those pointy little ears, and I start going "Oh my goodness! Somebody's a little kitty cat. Who's the babyest kitty? Bashabooboo YIS! Pshoooooooo!"

Lol I read a story about this in chicken soup for the animal lovers soul... It happens to the best of us. My bf holds my cat like a baby and I talk to her in a different tone of voice...it's ridiculous buti can't stop

It's absolutely normal. I baby-talk to my cat all the time. :)

I have this chihuahua at my Aunt's house and she is white with little brown spots and I like to pick her up and put her in my jacket and go "OH DAH PUPPIES, OH SAPUPPIES!!! OHHHDAPUPPIES!!!!".

I treat my two cats exactly like babies.

I talk to my cat too but never infantilised him.

i like cats too one time i took in a friends cat before because they didn't want him anymore then i took him to the shelter because it wouldn't get along with my cats i had so then here comes another cat thats not mine whining at me when i was outside cleaning the yard then i was thinking damn i just got Rid of one cat and now here's another one that i can't afford to take care of 4 cats because i already have 3 cats then my uncle gets mad at me for feed the cat thats outside when its hungry and whining at me and i know its got to have another home it gos to and from

all i know is if i where a cat i would want someone to feed me if i got dumped off like this cat if no one owns him he looks pretty old

I miss my kitty so much. He used to endure so many hugs and kisses. My friend just got a kitten. I go over to her house now and get my kitty fix.
