Is it normal to talk to your pets like their people

well, I see my cat as a human. I don't know of THAT'S normal. But, I do speak to her like she can actually respond.

Yes i do. I talk to my pets like they're people and people like they're my pets!

I talk to my female cat all the time. she looks at me and listens and responds too!

she watches tv with me, sits on the patio with me, reads books with me....okay well sits on my lap while I read, and sits with my daughter(while my daughter reads books to her), and she always runs to comfort my daughter when she cries.
I love her to death!Best fkn cat in the universe!

Its normal, I do it all the time with my kitties. :)

I prefer the company of my dog to people any time.

And yes that includes talking to him as well.

Yes absoulutly animals are non judgemental and innocent and don't know any different than to listen to you and love you. In have met a lot of animals who would certainly be a good role model for how certian people should behave. As you can probably guess I am a self confessed animal lover. I also think that your pets should have a proper name and not something daft like fluffy.as it makes them more part of the family Well that's my thoughts anyway. I love cooing, playing melting over puppies and kittens all baby animals really) though I wouldn't want the responsibility of one though as gorgeous as they are. xx

Of course, I do the same thing. They're not people but they ARE family, so I treat them as such. :)

I do the same thing and nothing is wrong with it. I just wish they could talk back. One of my cats looks right at me when I talk to her and I swear she understands every word I say. You can see it in her eyes and she makes better eye contact than most people,
