Is it normal to text the wrong number and them want to chat? a few times I have texted old numbers either by accident or not realizing that person had changed numbers. Usually they get upset or just say "wrong number " . Though sometimes they will chat back and start asking my age and name and say they are looking to hook up . I do not know if I am being wierd but I find it odd when they auctully want to chat back with me honestly find it a tad bit creepy I do not know am I a total jerk for thinking this . Or is this just really a creepy thing to do ?

No. You'll never know who in the world you're texting. It's okay to text them and have a conversation, but meeting up and whatnot? Doesn't sound very safe.

I used to text back unknown numbers. A few were interesting, one got mad because I took so long to see who it was and the most recent one freaked me out so I ended the conversation.

The wrong people always text/call my phone, then expect me to text back when I don't even know them. The other day this woman kept texting me thinking it was her boyfriends number. I kept telling her it wasn't his number, but she was persistent. She texted insults, swears, and other whiny garbage about their last date or some shit. Each time she texted me it was from a different phone. I was expecting an important text that day and her nonsense was pissinng me off. After an hour of trying to convince her, I had enough and pretended I was her boyfriend. I texted her that it was over and that I found another girl. She then calls my phone and I pick up and laugh at her in an exaggerated fashion. She starts weeping on the other line. I continue to laugh. She finally stopped texting me after that.

Yes, I texted a wrong number and we started talking and it turned out she knew one of my friends and she even came along once when I met my friend.

I hate it when people get new numbers and they do not tell the people they are in contact with that their number is going to be changed THEN when you get the number their contact randomly text u and i'm like "wth..who is this?"..and then they ask how are u then and where u from..so weird

    Hahaha:D ...Yeah, she told her boyfriend at the time, and he got really pissed off. It was kind of creepy though because it was late at night and he wouldn't leave her alone even though she kept denying him.
