Is it normal to think about the fact that the human race will end

I seem to think about how we will end a lot and what that will mean. would we be taken-over or would we just be absorbed by the sun? This is something that i think about a lot and i'm not really scared since death is inevitable but i'm just curious if i'm the only one

I think we will kill ourselves before a asteroid, comet and the sun is stable for a few billion years. We can fuck up the ozone and get fried and that would be our fault. The dinos ruled for millions of years and they are gone. The earth has had many events that wiped out most life several times. We are diff from other animals.
We have the power to do it ourselves when some nut pushes the button.

Problem is it won't be the "fault" of all of us: those of us who've tried for decades to do the very best for the earth and humanity will die out along with the majority of selfish greedy lazy parasites who do nothing but add to the problems we already have.

I agree it won't be the everyday working person that pushes the button. It will be some insane dictator or leader. The politicians don't care about anyone but their selves. Wars are made to make the rich richer. Or by a religious fanatic. Either way the rich get richer. Until the button gets pushed. Then good bye world or world as we know it.

We'll probably be extinct before the sun gets the earth.

Absorbed by the sun? That is low on the list as it wouldn't happen, in theory, for a long fucking time. A metric fuck-ton, actually. It would need to become a red-giant star prior to it expanding and encapsulating the Earth. +/- a few billion years.

    More likely:

    >A black hole forming near our solar system (relative)
    >Alien's who don't fucking like our shitty species
    >Global pandemic (disease)
    >Artificial intelligence (Hayley Joel Osmund)
    >Bio-warfare
    >Nuclear warfare
    >Super-volcano (i.e. Yellowstone's caldera)
    >Overpopulation

I'm 80% sure we're going to get to the point within 90 years in which we either obliterate our species, or we learn to work together and drop the petty, useless labels we assign one another over stupid fucking things that are imagined to begin with, primarily nationalism.

The no. 1 cause of death is time.

I'm not going to worry myself to death over the demise of the human race as I'm sure I'll be long gone by then.
