Is it normal to think covid restrictions shouldn't apply to me?
So I am by no means an anti-masker, COVID-19 is a really serious illness that we all need to do our part to stop the spread of. I have had family acquaintances contract COVID and they all agree that this is not a flu, it's a serious illness and they're lucky to be alive. I strongly believe that masks should be required and social distancing should be enforced. People should not be allowed to have house parties and we need to close bars. This is vital to stop the spread.
All of this being said, I don't believe these restrictions should apply to me. I strongly believe everyone else should have to wear a mask and not be allowed to party, but I don't think I should have to follow these rules. I find it really annoying to wear a mask and while I agree that others should have to wear them, I don't get why I need to.
