The bible was written by savages. Bronze age myths are all brutal and barbaric, and the bible is no different. The gods of those stories are reflections of the people who wrote them. Jehovah, Allah, Thor, Zeus, Osiris, Marduk, Baal - they are all dictators in the sky.

After all, Man did create God in his own image.

Just a random fact to put out there, in the Bible of how many people were killed by god and satan.

    God: 2,000,000 killed
    Satan: 10 killed

Yes, the god of the bible is a complete asshole. Lucifer is much better. At least he takes on that asshole.

No, God isn't evil in the least! You have to keep in mind that he gave us free will ; he can't control us. Some things happen because man chose it, and sometimes God can't intervene. He can't always pull our Chestnuts outta the fire. Sometimes you have to be smart enough to do it on your own. I wonder all the time why horrible things, such as 9/11 or the Holocaust, had to happen and why God didn't stop them. That part is normal. But blaming God for man's foolish choices...bad idea.

God isn't evil, the only one who is evil, is Satan.

It's a moot issue anyway, since neither of them exist.

Well you cannot just say that they don't, no one really knows. You can believe it, but you don't need to say that neither of them exist, you wouldn't know.

I have enough proof. Read this quote:

Is god willing but not able to stop evil?
          Then he is not omnipotent.
          Is god able but willing?
          Then he is malevolent.
Is god both willing and able?
          Then whence cometh evil?
Is god nor willing or able?
          Then why call him god?

Of course I can't know - the god hypothesis was designed to be unprovable. But if there's absolutely no evidence for something's existence, the default position for a logical person is to be skeptical.

Telling me that you'll believe in god until someone can prove he doesn't exist is like saying that you'll believe in the sasquatch until someone searches every square inch of Canada.

There is logic which supports there being a god (sans theodicy) and there is logic which supports there not being a god. It is therefore logical to believe whichever you like best.

No way, are you a devil to say that God is evil? And one more thing, YOU SHOULD SAY HIS NAME WITH A CAPITAL LETTER G!!!

If you think God is evil, do you think the devil is good? Hmm..I highly disagree.

God (you-me) is everything. This means everything! There is no good or evil. There just "is"

Sure it is. Everyone is so concerned that god MUST meet the requirements of theodicy (that god is all knowing, all powerful, and all good). Realistically this is logically impossible. Why should god be any of these? Perhaps god created the universe by accident. Or perhaps his power is limited. Or perhaps god was just curious. We don't know. He might be evil or he might be naive. (the use of the word he is just for the sake of convenience)

God does exist, the bible is the truth. NASA even found the answers to a problem they had in the bible. But anyway everyone has free will to accept or reject it.
God also looks after those who believe in him

If "god" was supposed to be our merciful "lord" why did the holocaust happen?? What about all the wars? Murder? If he/she is so amazing why didn't he give a shit?
