Is it normal to think i'm going to be shocked?

I get this phobia of being shocked. You know, when you're statically charged then touch something and it shocks you.

It makes me not want to touch door knobs, people, etc. This happens usually after i've been shocked that day and the rest of the day is cautious lol it doesn't hurt but i don't like it. Is it normal?

Ahhh I think that's normal, I have received two shocks in my life and cried both times LOL I absolutely hate it, and have got into an awful habit at work of asking the lads to plug certain things in for me, better them than me!

    Yes that shock is irritating.

    The worst places are:
Generally girls/women getting out of the car (they always wear the best clothes for this)
Going down a slide (although its usually the other person who gets zapped when touched)
On some carpets and felt chairs (best not to scrape along these)

I think some people get it worse than others, could be how much fluid is in their body.
