Is it normal to think of my pets as siblings

I am an only child so I have always thaught of my pets as siblings. My little boy cat (my little bro) acts like my sibling; we fight alot, annoy each other and he brakes my things for no reason what so ever other to annoy me. My mom thinks he is innocent and sweet but he hangs with me 99.9% of the time and he is NOT innocent at all. Is this normal?

    Haha!! My little sis, roxy. (<333 her!!!!) is a female dog (literally! Lol) but I'm the one that annoys her a lot but she always likes to come and sit in my lap when she's tired :) I'm an only child too and its totally normal!

    Sure it's normal, especially for an only child. Pets are wonderful. Don't waste time worrying about it.

    it is completly normal my dog Kookie or koo koo kooike is like family i trained her just so i can spend time with her i love her like a little sis and i allways will
