is it normal to think that kids are more logical than adults.
it seems to me that most people hit the most logical point in their life just before puberty starts then hormones kick in their thinking becomes less rational it stabilizes somewhat at full adulthood but never really goes back to normal
It varies, really, depending on the environment the child grows up in. Children tend to be more honest in their initial phase of mental development. They don't understand the concept of nuance, therefor they can't really comprehend abstract ideas. Their mind is more unaltered by propaganda and social conditioning so they tend to perceive things at face value. It has less to do with hormones than it has to do with environment.
The maturization process is really tricky. You can develop into a critical thinker, or you can succumb to the need of conformity, which is a psichological burden.
The less children are exposed to propaganda, the better. That's why family is crucial for the intellectual development of a child. If the parents are logical, the child will most likely be a logical person.
depends on the person. theres some stupid kids, and then theres some stupid adults lol
I don't think so, OP. :\ I think the majority could rely more on the words of let's say a 21 yr old over a 8 yr old. The brains of children aren't developed enough yet to be really be logical.
Have you ever talked to a 9 year old? They say some of the dumbest shit I have ever heard.
sometimes they are so profound because they are so innocent and other times they just wanna poop in the kitty litter box and act like drunks.
It rings true to me. The logic of kids is quite reasonable, unique and interesting, until their parents/educators fuck it up.
