I literally first thought this when I was about 6 yrs old or so. I remember asking my parents "What if life is just a long dream in heaven?".
Now, with what I've learned about color and light and energy, I'm almost certain our eyes act as some sort of projectors of reality and nothing is as it seems (such as how nothing actually is the color it appears to be). I find it amazing that no two people see the exact same colors and probably not the same of some other things either. Objective perception is something that has always fascinated me.
There are many people who believe stuff like this or at least consider the possibilities if you look in the right places.
What is this nonsense about no two people seeing the same colours?
We all agree on what is purple, brown, orange, etc.
Everyone sees a different variation of the spectrum. It's mostly a slight difference, but really how can we even know for sure that the grass is green to everyone. We all label it green but who's to say some people don't perceive it as purple and just label it green? Ok, that might be a bit of a stretch because there's probably a way to measure colors (they have different temperatures)...but still, it's an interesting thought...
Did you know there are some creatures, such as the mantis shrimp, who can see colors that humans cannot? And many others that can see ultraviolet light.
You're dreaming! When this life is over, don't count on anything else. Get it all done this time around, because this is your ONLY guaranteed shot at it.
I have also thought about how maybe everyone interprets colours differently but it would be Impossible to find out
