Is it normal to think that your eyes are lying and betraying you?

Sometimes I have this feeling... that what I see are not real and not true. This world that I see is just an image, for example, this laptop in front of me is just a fake image that's on my retina.
My eyes are lying, they're betraying me, and they're not indicating the right and true things.
Sometimes I also suspect that the world that I live in that I am feeling does not even exist..
IIN? Anyone else had ever suspected that before?

(I've read a book before, saying that the colors that you see are different from the color that the person besides you sees.. which proved that everyone see different things! so our eyes might not be indicating the most accurate thing then...)

The information the brain receives is filtered by our senses, so our understanding of the world is imperfect. This is where a lot of illusions come from, our brains trick us into thinking we know more than we do.

It's possible that the world is fake and we're living in the Matrix, but if that's true, what are you going to do about it? It's fun to think about, but not super productive, in my opinion.

Well our eyes can detect the visual light range from the electromagnetic spectrum so you probably are seeing what everyone else is seeing unless you have an extra sense.

Well the brain is that thing in your skull that interprets the images the eyes see. I would actually blame the brain, not the eyes.
