There use to be a variety of films, games, tv shows, music genres and artist (more creativity), and the WWE was the shit. Now its reality shows and poorly written sitcoms. Repetitive music by shitty rappers and popstars. Dudebros fucked up gaming. And movies are comic heroes and stupid horror films, nothing with good plots. Cartoons are kiddier than they should be. They fit ages 4-7. After the 90's/00's celebrities got older or died, the next generation wasn't nearly as good. There is no Leo or Johnny Depp of this era. Instead of MJ we have Justin Bieber. I do like the improvement of useful medicine and technology though. And swag is cool. Besides that, people of today are super sensitive and vain. I see more censorship and stuff. The internet is full of people that search for issues to argue about, which affects the real world. I'm all for awareness but now it just seems like a trend to complain about anything. Everyone wants to be a hipster. I'm not stuck in the past, but nothing today is unique.

      No. As time went on stuff was still good. Now its Kardashians and social media for entertainment.

    People said that same thing about the '90's IN the '90's. Granted, somethings were better back then, some things were worse.

    Interestingly, I feel the same about the 80' & the 90's. I believe there was a much more diverse and creative talent pool back in the 60's. We didn't have the 'movie magic' of today, so if the actors wanted to make you believe, they actually had to ACT! And musically, I doubt that any band from the last 20 odd years will ever achieve the historical significance of the Beatles, Stones, Birds, Doors, Tina Turner, Moby Grape etc.
    Perhaps that's just the way it seems, as each generation grows up?
