Is it normal to think we are primitive in this plane of existance?

I can't help but sometimes think that in this plane of existence we are primitive, in this plane we are beings of blood and flesh, but in other planes we are spiritual beings of energy, blood and flesh sounds more primitive than energy to me.

Is it normal to think we are "primitive" in this plane, since when we die we transcend this plane to being beings made of energy, with the ability to travel the universe at will.

Looks like someone learnt I new word this week...plane. Plane plane plane plane plane. Oh I'm so deep right now.

There's no evidence available to convince me we "transcend this plane" and become "beings of energy" when we die. So that justification for your decision that we're primitive doesn't really work for me.

We're incredibly complex organisms, and this complexity perhaps isn't fully appreciable in every day life. But when you put us under a microscope, when you realise how elaborate and intricate our bodies are, we no longer seem so primitive.

We are energy. Blood is energy. Flesh is energy. We are the Tao. The Tao is energy.

I want to go by plane.

Problem is it is just too damn expensive.

Oh yes, I can be very primitive ;p.

But seriously, I believe the same thing.

    Primitive in what sense?

    primitive |ˈprimətiv|
    adjective
1 relating to, denoting, or preserving the character of an early stage in the evolutionary or historical development of something

Are you suggesting that, in the framework you've suggested, our flesh and blood bodies came first, and our "energy beings" came later, and are somehow more developed?

If so, do you have some kind of explanation for how this happened?

Absolutely. We are vibrating at a lower frequency.

Where's yours? The onus of proving something is on the one making extraordinary claims that something exists. You claim we become "energy" without a shred of proof. In fact you do not even know what energy is in the first place as you didn't get my question about how many joules. Like all new age enthusiasts you just talk out of your arse.

It is impossible to give a comprehensive definition of energy because of the many forms it may take, but the most common definition is that it is the capacity of a system to perform work.

          Now let's define work...

Or, you could stop being an ass.

And OP- we do not become energy, we are energy.
