Is it normal to try and signal aliens?

I would be outside in my backyard during the night wearing my boxers with a pair of underwear on my head while dancing around a tree and singing " This land is your land " to try and signal the aliens. Is this normal?

    Maybe the aliens would take more notice if you wore red sequin panties like they did in Mars Attacks.

    why don't you just called by phone , try all phone numbers you can think of, may be they will answer... who know, some say they " live among us"

    I'm sure a lot of people have done crazy things to make alien contact. Why don't you just by a powerful telescope and keep watching the sky. That way you see amazing sights and your next door neighbor doesn't look at you weirdly from over his hedge.
