Is it normal to uncover pokemon secrets?

So I have only been playing pokemon for two years, but I became obsessed with looking beyond the story line and what the game doesn't point out obviously, the hidden secrets of the pokemon world.

For example, the detailed story of Red and Blue fascinates me (how Red kills Blue's raticate and Blue swears revenge). Also, the way that the three legendary birds, dogs and regis all have an ordered numbering pattern, and the reason behind this drives me crazy with interest. And don't get me started about the conspiracies of Giovanni...

I try to explain my obsession with my friends, but they just think I'm weird and don't pay much attention. I know it's just a game but there is something about it that makes me want to discover much more than just the story line.
IIN?

Nintendo has some pretty dark and creepy shit in their games. Like Lavender Town's song is scary and I don't scare easy. Nintendo is like the Disney of the video game world. Lots of crazy secrets waiting to be found.

When you are really into something you naturally want to know all you can. Also its human nature to ask alot of questions, what is? what if? what about anything? Its normal and pokemon is a great series.

  • Yes man. totally. I'm so obsessed with the finer secrets of the Pokemon world! Lavender Town still sends shivers down my spine. Oh, and Unown is one of my favorites too.

Also, i remeber seeing this somewhere, since red dad or blue mother and father are in the game, there was a conclusion that there was a war, with pokemon used as weapons, there is something with the electric gym leader, he says something to hint on this

Yes, it's normal. I know it's been mentioned here already, but have you heard the Lavender Town song? Holy sh*t! It's the creepiest song I've heard in a while. And the creepy pasta on it doesn't help, either.

With the Cubone conspiracy, I personally believe that Kanghaskans are not evolutions of Marowak, but are their own species. The little infant in their pouch however, is an offspring of a mother Marowak. The Cubone that first hatched received the mothers skull, while the other Cubone(s) are "adopted" by Kanghaskans.

There may be many flaws with this theory, but I came up with this myself and am pretty proud of it :)

I always wondered why is it such a world wide event in the Pokemon world that ALL Cubones wear their mother's skull. If I remember correctly the pokedex said no one even knows what a Cubone looks like without the skull. I'm just curious that's the origin of the schull. Does the mother just die after giving birth?

Thanks for the comments! Yes I've heard about the stories of the Lavender town curse, the story of Cubone's skull and Ash's coma... There are some very dark secrets aswell, such as the machoke in vermillion city or rival silver's family roots. I really hope someone knows about the secrets to the regi number patterns (if you do please comment).
    Thanks again :)

I am not sure why this is the only thing I remember about Pokemon, but the one named Cubone always has a skull helmet on, which came from his mother after she dies giving birth to them.
A little twisted to wear your own mothers skull as a child. I wonder what Freud would say about that.

That's on a Pokedex or something. My husband and I were talking about it last week.

We came to the conclusion that this was BS. What if the Mother had more than one Cubone?

they dont, they lay one egg when no one is looking, that is also where missing No came from marrowak was suppose to evolve into kangaskang, (sorry if i got the names wrong) but last minute they took it out, and just left the data there

Marowak involving into Kanghaskan? That'd be fucked up.

Well if its what you're interested in and conspiracies and the like are always fascinating. You've actually made me want to look into conspiracies behind pokémon now! Never thought to read more into it and I've only been playing it for 12 years. Geez..
I think its normal by the way
