Is it normal to unmeaningly judge people that walk by you???

Not even meaning to do so, I judge the people that are innocently walking past me!! I don't even mean to it's just a bad habit!! Does anybody else do it or am I just that much of a terrible person??!

Sit at a bench in the mall. It's all-day entertainment to people watch.

It sounds really bad, but my first impressions are usually right, so I always do it. So I say it's normal

No; it's not even a bad thing. We all do that. As an aspiring filmmaker, I know that when someone is cast as a character in a film, before we even go into the acting abilities, we always start off by looks. If someone has the look of the character, than they are more than likely to get that role than someone who doesn't. It's the same way when judging someone. If someone looks a certain way, you can't help but to, in your mind, create an image of how that person might be. As long as you don't treat anyone differently because of it as 9 times out of 10 they are probably completly opposide of what they might appear to be. But no one can really help but to make a judgement off of someone's appearence.

I think about the people and wonder why they do certain things or what might be on their mind but I feel that harshly judging isn't a healthy thing to do.
