Is it normal to use the bathroom with the sink on

When I use the bathroom to pee, I don't turn on the sink. But when I do the number 2, I turn it on. I just feel weird with it silent while I do it. Is that normal?

    I used to do this when I would go to the bathroom while I was on the phone. Now I don't give a shit lol

    Lol I turn the (loud) bathroom fan on. I'd rather not have people in the other room listening to plops.
