Is it normal to visit gore shocksites regularly?

Well,seeing those things first hand is kind of a completely different experience.

I do it sometimes. I don't really know why. I've never really been sensitive to it, although sometimes I do feel sympathy for the people getting f'd up.

I do it too. You could say I have a morbid fascination. :)

I've visited them a few times but I have an interest in criminology and maybe becoming part of the police someday so I take it as preperation for what might be my job someday.

Apart from that, by not looking at such images, I believe it's just a way of being ignorant to what can and does happen in the world. By not acknowledging such things, I often think people live under a shell of misguided bliss.
