Is it normal to visualize what other users look like?

I've been using this site for quite some time and I have gotten an idea of the personalities of some of the more regular users. Most of which I have no idea what they look like (the others beings ones who have actually uploaded a photo of themselves)
But I have this idea of what they look like based on their personality. I'm so curious as to how right or wrong I am. Is it normal to do this? Do you do this or do you just take into account what they're saying?

(If you dare, in the comments section put a users name and what you think they look like and that user can answer how close you are)

    Someone tell me what I look like! lol.

    If I do visualize someone I just make them look like someone I know or used to know. I know, very imaginative, right? Tommythecat looks like a guy named Tommy I went to school with, Icame is this Asian guy I know, Obscurereason looks like Darryl from The Walking Dead, bananaface looks like the only british girl I ever knew. I'm more apt to visualize voices. And like Charli said, I may imagine a certain feature... like Charli.m has freckles, CounterfeitCircus is tall and has plump lips, Dom is Indian-looking, thegypsysailor just looks like a pirate to me and dirtybirdy is a shape shifter. I can never decide exactly what she looks like. Sometimes she's a hot blonde and sometimes she's a dude. There's more but I don't really think about it unless I'm reading their comments.

          Nope. Dark brown, though sometimes an auburn tinge in the right light. I'm reddish/pale :/

          I always thought you would have dark blond, shortish hair, a bit over 6ft. I saw your response to mbfb, seems I'm wrong hehe.

            I did get my pic to upload...I do have short hair now and no mustache, so the Sam Elliot comparison won't really fit.

      Ha! I had to google "Daryl from The Walking Dead..."

      Kind of? I'm older...salt & pepper grey/brown hair. Maybe when he gets another 10 years on him? I had to have my wife look too...she said, "kind of..." hahaha

      I've tried to upload my picture without success...I'll keep trying.

      When I had long hair, I've been told I look kind of like Sam Elliot.

      I'm not sure I can quite pinpoint what I see you as. You seem attractive, maybe darker hair (though I cheated and read further down the page)

      Hmmm...darkish hair with streaks of maybe purple or blue, average height, hot body, pretty eyes and funky style. Maybe wearing a pretty but casual kind of dress with pants under it and converse. Something like that. Am I even close?

        You're like a hair off with everything, although I am average height. My hair is usually dark red, but interestingly I was considering red or purple streaks last night. I wouldn't say my body is markedly hot or that my eyes are markedly pretty. I've been told I have a unique beauty and I think my awkward features work well as a whole (long arms, a little pudge on the belly, skinny, baby face). My ass has potential if I gain a few pounds, but it's not bad. My eyes are pretty when I emphasize them with makeup, otherwise they are average.

        My style is a bit funky, but I'm mostly a jeans and semi-dressy shirt kinda gal. I love to mix and match, but I rarely wear dresses because I only like to draw just enough attention to myself. I own a couple converse but I prefer Vans.

            There's this waitress at the cabaret theatre restaurant I love who reminds me of you. Awesome dreads (only they're bleach blonde with rainbow dye) and tatts.       I'm not sure what anyone here looks like apart from the one's I've actually seen. One of the ones I've seen looked *exactly* how I thought she would before I saw her, though. It was very surprising!

    I don't really visualise people, other than maybe a random feature (ie I thought howaminotmyself would have wavy hair - and I was wrong. I thought bananaface would have dark hair and blue eyes, I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong). However, if/when I find out what someone looks like, even if I haven't visualised anything about them, I will still have a moment of 'Oh, that is/isn't what I expected."

    I have no idea if I made sense. Go away, leave me alone :(

    I often wonder what a poster looks like and whether they are male or female. For months I thought lufa was a female!
    I like the anonymity of the site, but at times wished I could back up my posts by publishing our facebook page.
    I never lie or embellish on here; I see no need. I have 66 years of life experiences with a lot of international and national adventures, a couple of failed marriages, two kids and quite a few short and long term relationships, from which to draw on for my posts. My present girl friend is 41 years my junior, not fat, ugly or needy; she's thought to be quite pretty by all who meet her.
    Until this post I didn't even know a picture could be posted in IIN, and I still do not know how to do it.
    I have no idea if it would be a good thing to post my picture on here. But for those few who responded positively to my posts (most hate me, I believe), I would like them to have an idea of what I look like.
    It's not like anyone could track me down or anything (I don't live in the US, though I am an American), but I've never liked it when my picture is on the dart board as a target (long story), and really, I get enough grief as a faceless asshole, as it is.

      Look...I'm an old guy who had an affair with a young woman a few years ago myself. I grew up in the Virgin Islands and earned my sea-legs at a very young age. I'd actually love to, someday, get a trimeran and sail around the world. That's very cool that you can do that.

    RomeoDeMontague is this young guy from the dark ages.
    Myboyfriendsbitch is a young half naked woman with her beefy boyfriend always walking around behind her not giving a shit.
    Icame puts pictures in my head that I don't want.
    Bananaface is a pretty face surrounded by bananas.
    Thegypsysailor is a bearded, blond sailor on a boat with a beautiful view behind him.

    Maybe that's why my own name is so non visual.

    I do the same sometimes. I mean there are some people on here, the regulars, that I've known for awhile and I'm really curious to know what they look like. I think it's normal to be curious. I don't feel comfortable though naming who these people are though; I don't want to put them on the spot.
