Is it normal to vocalize thoughts of regret?

My mind wanders alot and I often remember/dwell on regretful and embarrassing times in my past. I will respond to these thoughts by impulsively blurting out random words or a little scream or something, with no attention paid to anyone who might be nearby. It happens alot in public and people always look at me like what the f*ck? Does anyone else do this? Is it normal?

i do the same thing and it's embarrassing when people hear. For me I think it's an attack of some evil entity that wants to mess with me. Just send it love and it will go away.

I think it's pretty normal. I dwell on events that I may regret or may not have really wanted to do that I thought I did. Though I may not scream I become quiet, awkward and otherwise extremely nervous when I am reminded of these past events, or friends I'm with are talking about something even concerning the topic the past event is about. I'll even do weird things with my hands or mouth and I always look down or away.
