Is it normal to walk fast?

All my life I realised that I walk pretty fast. I'll be in side-by-side with someone then literally I'll be the next block a minute later. People tell me also. I feel akward. I talked to the doctors about this problem but they said it's normal. Every walk differs from each individual but idk. It's strange to me for me to alternate speeds whilst walking.

We all walk at different speeds, I wouldn't be too concerned.

I walk faster than most, that does not bother me to much.
What gets me down is in the department shops when the employees waggle down the isle talking and no worries about anybody else.

I've always been a fast walker too, though I've slowly learnt to turn it down a notch.

Why did you speak to doctors about it lol?

Best cure I've found for speedwalking is walking down trails, where there's no real destination in mind. No reason to hurry. Try consciously slowing your pace, and you may find it eases anxiety and is more enjoyable.

Finally, a fellow speed walker, I can't tell you how annoying grocery shopping is. I swear some people walk like they never have anywhere to be, in my head I'm just like, either fuckin move or shift a gear.
