Is it normal to want everything uniform

Is it normal that i want to have a two week rotation of meals and wear a nearly identical outfit that i pack in boxes everyday next to boxes of properly organized cleaning products? Im not afraid of germs, i just love when things are uniform and organized.

    My therapist GF said that was an issue connected with your mother. It was imbedded during your developmental years as a child.

    I like symmetry. For example, when building my house but that's permanent.

    The OP needs to realise there are much more important things to worry about, sounds too ocd for me. It'd be ok as long as you weren't asking me to organise the meals and lay out the clothes - my partner could do whatever he wanted.

    I organize everything too, but I don't put my clothes in boxes.

    What would you do/feel if you were not able to organize your stuff for about a week?
