Is it normal to want to be an object?

Ever since I was young, I’ve had a weird feeling that I wanted to become an object or doll of someone. It started out as wanting to be an art project, made by kids I hated, or to become a doll in a dollhouse where someone would play with me, but as I grew older it changed into wanting to be a canvas and for someone to draw or paint on me, or anything similar. Before anyone asks, no, this is not something I’m “into”.

If it's not a fetish then that's just a mental disorder, nothing too serious though.

It is not uncommon for people to have fantasies about being an object or inanimate thing, as this is a common theme in many forms of media and can be an interesting or exciting way to explore one's own desires or imagination. However, it is important to remember that these fantasies are not real and should not be taken literally. It is not normal or healthy to want to actually become an object or inanimate thing in real life, as it would not be possible and would not allow for the fulfillment of basic human needs and desires. It is important to recognize and respect the boundaries of one's own humanity and the humanity of others. If you are struggling with thoughts or desires that are causing you distress or interfering with your daily life, it may be helpful to speak with a mental health professional for guidance and support.

I would say everyone imagines themself like that at least once in their life, but mostly no one would put more thought into it than just that.

I mean, I'd quite like to turn into an object too. Maybe a child's toy or doll, or bed, or clothing....
And nobody calls objects names like sick or disgusting for being used. May as well be an object.

No, I don't think that it's normal to want to be an object, I think it's sad.
