I know it sounds far-fetched but I want America to one day be tolerant of all religions including atheism. I also want America to experience an independent president, i feel like we've had too many Repubs and Demos and it's time for a radical change.
Will you vote for me???:P

I'd also like to wish you luck. At the same time don't get your hopes up too much because I'm sure they will be dashed. I don't see an atheist president happening any time in my lifetime unfortunately.
Nope sry that's wrong. An atheist is some1 who does not believe in any religions around him or her but instead believes in a higher power than they are unsure of and have know intention of figuring it out. An agnostic is one who completely rejects religion.
I'd vote for you. Better to be atheist than to claim satanism..oops..I mean "christianity."

Atheism is not a religion. It's the absence of religion. Religion, or lack thereof, should not play a role in politics. Also, people tend to always vote for republicans or democrats because it is more clear on where they stand on issues that are important to people. Your dream isn't going to happen.
I would like to point out your fundamental misunderstanding of Atheism. Atheism is not s religion in itself, but rather a rejection of religion due to a lack of sufficient evidence for their validity. If one is to claim that Atheism is a religion, it would be reasonable, by the same logic, to say that a lack of belief in the Easter Bunny is also a religion.
Alls I can say is it's ambitious. And good luck with the grass roots vote.
