Is it normal to want to have my brain implanted in a robot when i die?

Idk if the technology will be avaliable during our lifetime, but if I died I would want to have my brain implanted in a robot body so that I can see the future. It would also be nice to experience a mechanical body as well. Is this normal?

I wouldn't like to be trapped inside a metal case and be unable to experience sex with hot girls and live forever like that.

thats why you go for a fully functional humanoid body.

Assuming it were possible to place a human brain in a mechanical body, your type of death would be a large influence on whether you could still live or not. If only your vital organs stopped functioning (heart, lungs, etc.), then you might survive. However, if the brainwaves have ceased completely, then you would be considered "brain dead." This is sometimes used as the legal definition of death...

But I have to say, living for eternity as a cyborg would be kick-awesome. :P

interesting, hopefully within the next few decades they can find a way keep a brain going without the rest of the body, at least until they can put you in a cyborg,, and then for sometime thereafter.

I think I'd rather be a great cosmic dragon.
If I was put in a robot body, I'd be a cyborg and there would be the huge risk that I wouldn't be able to cope with it. Can a cyborg commit suicide?

well, you should still be in control of your new cyborg body, so, you shouldn't really any less able to than before, except for that your metal body might be more likely to survive a jump, than the flesh bag was.

It's normal only if you're afraid of death. Being afraid of death is normal if you're not sure where you're going after you die.

I have heard of someone who has made beetles live more than double of their supposed lifetime now if they did that on humans... Then again maybe not a good idea...

There was an article about a scientist currently trying to find out a way to do something similar that I saw a while ago. If there's some sort of breakthrough in this type of technology, I will be the happiest person ever.
