I would literally hurt or kill anyone that intentionally hurt one of my two cats. They are my family and anyone who hurts or abuses or mistreats an innocent animal should get what they give.
What makes your cat more important than an ant or wasp? I guarantee you have killed an animal at some point. Or are your cats just important because you are attached to them emotionally?
Animals do not deserve to be mistreated or deliberately hurt but I do not believe that animals are more important than humans. If I had to choose between saving a strangers child or my lovely cat I would save the child obviously. If you differ and would save your cat then personally I think that is disturbing.

I think you're disturbing for your ignorant and pretentious statement, animals were on this planet first and unlike you don't kill each other to make fucking handbags, if I had to choose between a cockroach or a child I would choose the cockroach. Every animal is equal except us, we're at the bottom of importance for the earths survival.
I'm not the OP, but to answer your question, it depends. I'd definitely put my animals above some humans!

I'll take your two lovely precious cats, tie their tails together, and set one of them on fire. Ten bucks says the cat not set on fire will chew the others tail off, thereby hurting it. Then well have a threeway slugfest with you trying to assault both my person and your cat. At which point, verily, I will slap you to the ground and kick your living cat so hard it's asshole flies out through it's throat, giggle at you, and proceed to leave from whence I came.

I agree with you OP, I hate animal abusers too. However, it sounds like nobody is threatening to hurt your cats, so don't waste your emotions on something that's not even existant.
Is there someone out there threatening your cats? Who is this person? Maybe you are wasting time plotting your revenge if said person does not exist.
I'm fairly staunchly against anyone hurting animals but what interested me about your post was the title. It said you "want" this. Almost that you want someone to hurt your cats so then you have an excuse to hurt humans. I might be reading too much into this but are you, yourself, bottling up anger and feel like you need to lash out?
No I do not want anyone to hurt one of my cats just so that I may hurt them. That Is not what I was saying. It just upsets me that people think it is acceptable to abuse or hurt animals and the law does nothing about it. If someone intentionally hurt mine I would hurt them back. That is all. I am against all types of violence on animals and people but on the other hand I will defend myself and my cats if that be the case. When peolple are hurt they generally know why they were hurt but when an animal is abused or hurt especially by its owner they do not understand and thats what pisses me off. They are innocent creatures and if you do not have the patience for them or their mistakes and have to hurt them to feel better than just do not own any animals. Its just that simple.
It's not always that simple, though, is it? I have a very long fuse but animal cruelty is one of the few things that makes me react instantly. A couple of years ago, I walked onto my street and saw a neighbour's 14 year old son hanging a puppy by its leash. The puppy was clearly struggling for breath.
There really isn't a right answer. Call the RSPCA or the police, by which time he may have killed his own puppy? Tell him off, which he may ignore? React physically, which may land me a hefty spell in prison? The route I did take resolved the problem almost immediately, but I was still expected a policeman to knock at my door afterwards.
