Is it normal to want to rescue animals?

So, every time I see a stray cat or dog, I have a sudden urge to run outside and take care of it. I have rescued 4 cats and 1 dog. The dog and 3 of the cats have gone back to their owners or have been adopted to new homes, the 4th cat, is mine. I usually find animals at 2-4 AM. Is this normal? :(

    Lol ur very kind, this is normal. I have the same urge.... U have no idea how hard I worked for my last dog I found.

    That's exactly how I got my cats! All five cats were strays, and I got the fifth one when he just walked into the kitchen, meowing. I thought it was someone's cat, so I didn't keep him in until I was sure he was a stray.

    In my opinion you are normal, and we are much alike. We both love animals, yes? :)

    Hahaha :D This is JUST like my last girlfriend! She even picked up a bee while it was raining, and put it under a leaf so that it wouldn't drown. Id say this is pretty normal, and that you're a kind person :)

    Im the same way! I was driving today and saw two dogs on the side if the road(55mph speed limit) and i started to tear up
