I am currently in year 11 at a boys school and I really want to get to know this teacher (he's male). He gas never taught me but when I had him as my head of year we talked about serious things. I haven't spoke to him since. (was year 8 when he was my head of year). Would it be weird if after year 12 I met up with him and just talked?
Well, if you got away with it without the schoolboard knowing. I asked a few of my teachers for their facebooks once, and one of my favorites told me they can get in big trouble for giving them out. Or even having them! He told me thats how it is, because their not there to be your friend. They are there to teach you. Tey dont want interferences that are personal. But back toyour question, Its completely normal. Some of them are just really nice and you think you could have a good friendship with them.
There were a few of my old teachers that I would have loved to hang out with. Some suck, but there are some that arejust awesome
ofcourse there is nothing wrong with being friends with a teacher, outside class.
But that's the thing I don't know. He helped me in year 8 ( because my dad used to bash the shit out of me) and after year 8 it just stopped as if nothing hapened
I agree with the first person who commented. Why not. You're both human beings. What REALLY (if you think about it) should prevent you two from talking? There's nothing wrong with that. Go for it.
It would be fine teachers are people aswell. If he was someone you could talk to easily than go for it.
