Is it normal to want to take home all animals?

Every time I see a dog or cat on their own I want to take them home. Even if I know that they probably live nearby I worry about if they are lost or have a home. It will bother me for days worrying if they found their way home or if, God forbid, they got hit by a car or something. I've already taken in 5 cats and a guinea pig but I always feel that I haven't done enough.

    I feel the same way!!! I have 7 cats, 3 dogs and a parakeet!!

    You should volunteer at a no-kill rescue, you'd be perfect :)

    i am the same i live on a farm with lots of dogs and i take them with me f there lost or if there hurt i will take them to a vet and take them to there owners and stuff!!l love pets and dogs!

    I'm the same way.

    And I always feel a deep sadness when I see dead animals on the side or on the road. Especially, if it looks like it was a pet.

    You just have a big heart for animals :-) I wish there were more people like you!
    I don't know how many times I have stopped to help a lost animal. Thank goodness I have always found the owner.
    I have 3 dogs and worry about them all the time, their my babies :-)
