I really like one of my female friends. I find myself wanting to hug her and hold her hand and braid her hair a lot because I feel happy when I touch her. I'm not sure know about kissing but I'd be willing to give it a try. Am I gay or do I just like cuddles?
Some people are just more physical than others and you should imagine dating and being intimate with a woman. If that turns you off you are not gay.

I think if it's at the point that you needed to ask, you're probably gay. I think if you weren't, that possibility probably wouldn't even cross your mind.
I'm going to preface this by saying platonic contact with your friends is a completely normal thing to want and enjoy. However, if you're wondering if you might have feelings for this person then it's worth thinking about in depth - how does it make you feel to imagine kissing her or asking her out, for example? If it makes you uncomfortable, then you have your answer.
It doesn’t necessarily mean you are romantically attracted to her, some people just like touching more than others.
I think one of my friends in college went through this, we were in the kitchen at a party once and she leaned in and gently kissed me for a second. Then we broke away, I said thank you and we laughed. Sometimes platonic love comes out in odd ways.
This isn’t to say you definitely aren’t gay or bi though it’s just a possibility.
