Is it normal to watch gory videos on websites like liveleak and best gore? It's been bothering me for awhile and the stuff that I have seen has fucked me up in the head. When I watch the videos I feel scared, depressed and extremely disturbed. I watch them out of morbid curiousity and that alone. It makes me mad to see how messed up people are but I really need to know how normal this is and if I'm a psychopath or not.

Im contemplating if I should put a link as an example for one of the videos that I can't get over. If you want a better idea of what type of videos I have had a habit of watching ask and i will reply with a link. Thank you for the help.

    I think it's normal to be curious about gory videos, and probably even feeling the way you do about them, but that's the same reason you should break your habit of watching them. If something like that makes you feel bad, you should probably stop doing it.

    Also, though it would take a professional to get a diagnosis, I don't think you're a psychopath.

    Which video is it? There are some I absolutely refuse to watch. Maybe skip over the bad ones... sometimes I go straight to the comments to find out how bad it is before I watch the video.

      One of them is on YouTube and it's terrible. I can't bear to watch it all the way through yet I have the urge to do so... This video has scarred me so watch with your own risk.

        Stuff like that happens all the time. Do a little research and look at what happens at a slaughter house.
