Is it normal to watch these strange youtube videos?

So I was just browsing randomly through YouTube videos when I found a strange video where somebody pours chocolate all over himself called "Super Thick Chocolate Slime".

At first I found it downright disgusting, but then I watched it again and I seemed to enjoy it for some reason o_O

So I decided to click on other ones in the related videos, and I've only just noticed how many of these are on YouTube! YouTube is FULL of people that like to cover themselves with food, it's mind-boggling. Is this like a new gross-out craze?

So I decided to watch more and more and now I'm obsessed. I just loved the grossness of it. It's somewhat fascinating and I can't work out why.

Why is this happening to me? Why am I enjoying it? What is this practice even called, why are so many people doing it on YouTube, and why is it a turn-on? Is this a normal thing to watch?

It's also given me the temptation to do it to myself at one point when no-one else is in the house, just to see what it's like.

One last thing: There are a few young kids on the site doing it as well, which is even stranger. I saw a video of a kid covering himself in baked beans and I just laughed at how surreal it was!

    This is called "wam" which stands for "wet and messy". It's a sexual fetish, and to some people it can be slightly arousing... to others, sickening. And yes, kids do it too, why I really can't say but... yeah.

    Oh my god, are you serious?
    Hey, I had some friends who were obsessed with looking at videos on YouTube where these people would pop the cysts of their friends, and the puss and blood would come oozing out like lava from a volcano. While my friends didn't get turned on by it, they certainly kept watching those videos a lot.
