Is it normal to whisper racist remark under my breath?

I only do this when I'm home alone and I'm totally not a racist so don't berate me with some undeserved bs. I usually say anti semitic, African American and Asian remarks jokingly to myself when I'm running errands at my house. I have the habit of speaking to myself so I think its ok to do these things as long as I don't mean them, you know? Again I'm not racist I have black friends. I dated a European guy in my freshman year of college so he probably had some jewish ancestry and I like Asian people! Does anyone else on here say racist things to themselves jokingly??

            No, just "straya"

Probably our accent (I'm assuming you're American here...) but it's hard to tell the difference between an Aussie saying "Australia" & just saying "straya" when we're taking normally.
& well, we're lazy. Sometimes it's just oz

            I know, I know...
            But cheers all the same

Yes, totally American...and I do that really shitty, weird American impression of an Australian accent too.

Anyone who finds it necessary to use the qualifier "I'm not racist. I have black friends" is a total fucking racist IMO.

    I have a black cat.

I joke around with my black friends for being black and they joke around with me for being southeastern European. It's all good in the hood. I'm difficult to offend and so are my friends. Everyone has their line though, and it's best not to cross it.

Rule of thumb: if you can't say it comfortably in front of someone's face, don't say it at all.

Honestly, I think almost everyone does this. I am even racist against my own race. I just find that joking about certain aspects in life (as long as it does not offend anyone) is completely normal. Would I ever openly say the "N" word to someone? No, of course not, unless said person was comfortable with me doing so. But, I happen to find racial jokes hilarious and I love when I find other people who feel the same -- especially when they can actually joke about themselves be it race, personality, etc.

I've actually done this before when fantasising about being in WW2. It doesn't have to mean anything.

Sounds like a fairly mild and benign sort of 'Tourette's syndrome', and I wouldn't let it bother you too much.

I doubt you are being honest with yourself. There is nothing funny about "anti semitic, African American and Asian remarks" at all, and that you would think so, just proves you are the very thing you say you are not. To say, "a European guy in my freshman year of college so he probably had some jewish ancestry" is every bit as racist as the "N" word.
Time for some deep introspection; you are indeed a racist or at least a bigot!

Call everyone seabiscut and tell them it's an insult to their race. See how they react.

Not necessarily, I tend to find mofo or mutha fucka to be more Ebonically sound.
