Is it normal to wish i was an elf?

I love elves and everything about them. Not santa's christmas elves, but the fantasy elves, the ones that are so much better than humans-they are smarter, faster, better looking, wiser, magicaler, the ones that make humans look stupid, ugly, fat, and slow. I love them! I want to be an elf! I LOVE ELVES! and the word! ELF. elf. Elf. Elven. ELVEN elves elves elf ELF elves elves are so cool! I wish i was an elf... is it normal?

    But there's a downside to Tolkien elves. They're dull, they can die of heartbreak, they're really not that helpful, and they're a dying breed.

    Oh and you don't live in a fantasy worlds so don't think too much about it.

    The thing is... Tolkien's elves were only one kind.

    If you read lore you'll see that elves were NOT always kind. And in fact there were some who were quite evil.

    Just to let you know, according to the mythology elves are actually how humans would be if they didn't get kicked from heaven for thier sins ( adam and eve) so i'd say its normal

    I want to be a fairy too,they are so cute and magical.they have lovely fairy wands.they leave colourful sparkling trails of glitter wherever they go.And the word fairy.fair,fairly,fairy.........CRAP!!

    Agreed! Although I'd prefer not to have to learn a whole other language!
    Also, if i was an elf, I'd like there to be magic involved, like summoning the elements etc. :)

    Elves are OK I guess, but if you're going for fantasy there are far better races to choose from, like Dwarves.

    Try to find the good side to humans, though.
