Is it normal to wish that your teacher loved you like a daughter?

Omg I totally relate to this because I have a problem so similar!! I really want attention from this one teacher so I pretend to act all sad and not paying attention to get attention. I even tell my friends I dread her class and I hate the teacher but really I don’t. Sometimes I know this is weird but please don’t judge I dream about if she was a relative of mine. I really need help!! So can someone please tell me what to do!!??

I'd say its normal! One of my old teachers shared the same interests, hobbies, views, etc as me, and I go to him for a lot of advice. He is kind of like my school-dad.

Yes, this is normal. Teachers help raise the next generation, so in a way she is like a surrogate mother to you I suppose. You'll have many teachers and mentors that you'll form a similar attachment to throughout life.

You said love like a mom right? If you love her as a motherly figure yes. Some people are close to teachers. Long as you are not doing it in the broom closet you know its all good.

I'd say it's normal, especially if she treats you like a daughter and you don't feel much love at home. My high school biology teacher was very motherly; she would always talk to her students. Sometimes, during lunch, she'd be in the corner with another student, talking to her about life and helping her get through whatever problems she was facing. She was a great teacher and she recently became an actual mother.
