Is it normal to wonder about the origin of screen names?

Before I made my account, I was reading about how some scientists believe that electrons behave differently when they are observed than when they are not observed. The question popped up if electrons are "conscious" or not. It's just some crazy theory behind the particle/wave paradoxical nature of light.

I chose "Floyd" because I'm the biggest Pink Floyd fan I know, and I don't like pink(the color). Cloud came from my drug usage, since people always say 'high' as in the sky, and in the clouds, well, cloud shall be. Though I have NO IDEA where the Z came from, I don't regret putting it there.

On the week of me signing up I watched Charlie & The Chocolate factory and for some reason I love the line where Johnny says, 'Ha! You're really weird.'.

Well my user names are pretty random. They are usually characters I admire, I relate to or that I am totally obsessed with at the time of making an account. This one I randomly plucked out of my hat. It's my nickname. Mostly I say it's my real name because I hate my first name (Chrissianna).

I originally wanted to go with "averagejoe" but it was already taken so I swapped the word order. I guess it was because that's basically how I wanted people to see me: as an everyman, an average guy, not really special or standing out from the crowd. Probably some deeper psychological issues here but I don't really feel like going into that.

My username I use for almost everything that isn't 'official'. Lia is my nickname and I like how the letters are like 1,2,3. Dumb, I know lol and 3 is just one of my favourite numbers ^_^

My name was just a random one, some might think it's a short like name for "it does" but it isn't.

"Remember me" is a book by Christopher Pike, which I adored, about a girl who was murdered and, between the world as we know it and the supposed 'afterlife', tries to find out who killed her. Everyone thinks it's a case of suicide, but really they have to dig much deeper to find out the truth. The girl refuses to be forgotten.
Basically, the book's concept kind of reminds me of myself, and how wherever i go, i try my best to leave a permanent mark. And how one of my biggest fears is to, eventually, be forgotten as if I was never even here in the first place.

For about two years after that every time I heard a funny noise I'd shout "They're here" and my folks would say "alright, Carol Anne". So it became a childhood nickname.
