Is it normal to work in school better when depressed?
Theres this weird thing going on with me that when im depressed im more attentive than usual in school and work better. And when im happy it gets all screwed up. Is this normal?

You're probably not depressed if you are capable of work. Probably just angsty.
I know. When I was at school I felt as though I was better off not having anyone because they would stab me in the back. That was the height of my intellect. I was able to focus more than I ever could. I never even responded to the teachers, just so I wouldn't get sidetracked by their rambling nonsense. If I could backtrack and ignore again. I even remember the teachers that all happened to coincidentally nickname me 'Poker face'. Personally I think they came up with that whilst talking behind my back. Them assholes. Anyways yes it is normal. You feel as though you need to focus on your work rather than your sorrows. Everyone should get depressed. The results in schools would be great.
I work better when neutral. But then again, I don't have many friends since I moved, so that might have had a hand in my intelligence (no-one to talk to).
