As the description says, is it normal to worry that people you know will stumple upon this site/your post and know its you and then you worry about their judging you?
Personally I'm irrationally afraid of one of my supervisors at work seeing one of my post and some how know it was me and subsequentelly get fired for it. Thats just me.
You know this is an irrational fear so why indulge it?
There is such a thing as choosing not to focus on what you're afraid of...
To be honest, I could care less if my friends or even family saw what I was posting. Who cares at this point, they all know I'm NUTS!
I don't get why people are so afraid to be spotted here. It makes me feel that they're not their "true" selves.
I'd happily put a pic up of me and everything BUT I'm terrified of someone I know spotting me, I feel like IIN is my secret love affair
This is why I do not put my name on anything or a picture that would reveal me to anyone in particular...
I wouldn't care that much, I haven't said much that I really wouldn't want anyone to know. Even if someone I know is reading this, I doubt they know who I am. I have mentioned this site to my mom, but as far as I know she hasn't read it. But she has an uncanny way of guessing things and being right, so I'm sure she'd find me right away...maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it to her lol
I'm scared of people finding out all of my weird habits. I wouldn't choose to tell them in real-life, so I would hate for them to find out all of my weird details and opinions.
I think I said so many things that anyone who knew me in real life would know it was me. Do I care? No. Why? Because I say the truth.
If you're that scared, when you post stories or polls, change names, useless facts like where you work. There's more than one person living things we live everyday. So I highly doubt you'd get "caught"
Just act like it is some random site you found that your not really interested in. Do not point it out and only tell them about it if questioned. Definitely do not let them know you are a member and have a username.
