Is it normal to write detail responses to fake questions?

Sometimes I like to answer obviously fake questions with detailed, thoughtful, and equally fake answers.

For example someone might ask if it's true that Asian women have horizontal vaginas. And I'd respond with a 10 paragraph essay on the genetics involved, how it's not true of most Asians, only the Ainu people of Japan plus one known family on Yap, and the ethical implications of vaginal rotation surgery.

Yes. Sometimes it's irresistible, I know. I think it's mainly a creative side that just needs to be used, and some posts are perfect opportunities for that. Once and again it just makes me feel stupid, for I could be using my time to actually help somebody with real advice. But I don't beat myself up for it, that's just the way I am AND I have fun doing it. I imagine that is your case as well.
