Is it normal wanting to kick my step mom's cat?

My step mom treats this cat as if it were her own son. That's great and all, but she takes so much offense when it comes to him. The other day I made one small comment asking if I could give him a bath because he smelled like poop. She blew up and told my dad on me. I'm still in trouble for what I said.. Now whenever I see the cat, I want to grab him by the neck, and punt him. Is it normal to feel this way?

    Holy fuck story of my life, I've got a step mom with no kids.. Just a big fat ass cat who she treats better than my sister and I -.- it can be hurtful and sometimes frustrating
    But whatever you do, don't hurt it, that cat has more rights in the house than you do so the sooner you accept it the sooner it will gtfo your life xD hope this help

    It's not normal to take it out on the cat... That's like a child hurting a newborn because they baby got more attention than him and got him into trouble.

    Your step-mum is the abnormal one here. You didn't even swear, you were trying to politely make a point and help out. If I were you, I'd tell her to lighten the fuck up it's only a cat. Sure, you can love an animal, but there's also taking it too far. Tell her if she doesn't chill out, she might be eating it for dinner. Sorted.

    It's okay, I pulled off a Michael Jackson balcony act on him earlier today, but I accidentally dropped him. Still, It made me feel better. :)

    The cat is like a child to your mom as most pets are to their owners ... so deal with it .

    Treat the cat well ... and maybe YOU will get treated better yourself ....

    lol...i think its in your your best interest not to hurt the cat....im assuming she's had that cat for a long time now and it's perfectly normal for her to have such a strong bond with it. I'm more of a dog person but still....don't kick the cat lol.
