Is it normal when i run my nails on my top lip.

I have been a life long thumb sucker. Suffering from chronic PTSD from a severely abusive relationship made it impossible to stop. My question is when my thumb is in my mouth or even when it's not and my nails are cold I am compelled to run my cold smooth nails across my top lip. It's a very relaxing and soothing feeling I've done all my life.

    Given that you have PTSD I'd say it's definitely normal, I'm really very sorry to hear about that btw. Sorry if you're sick of people feeling sorry for you but I do hope you find someone in the future you deserve and that you find real happiness. Good luck!
