Is it normal when i see someone with sunburn i slap them in the back?

I always like to slap people in the bsck when they are wet or have sunburn. I know its mean but I always do this. People have done it to me but I slap them back. It stings really bad. I will come up behind them and say "How you doing buddy? and just smack them.
