Is it normal is a small world in which I thought was just a come and go website, but apparently, there is an entire community of familiar names.
Who is a very popular user you know? I'm writing this as a newbie, no I haven't returned.

It really isn't encouraged to ask people to "nominate" other users in a kind of popularity contest. I can see that wasn't your intention, I'm just saying.
You can work out from observing and come to your own conclusions.
I really wouldn't expect IIN to be a social place....its kind of like a hardware store, you just go there to cover some things not make a group of friends.
You'd think so, but someone has to answer the questions and it's so fun that some people stick around. It's easier to get sucked in than you'd think. You can compare it to a site like YouTube. Most people only go to YouTube to listen to music or watch fun viral videos, and yet there's a healthy community there.
I did start to list users who comment a lot and have made good contributions but it's all subjective different people like different things, if you stick around you'll get the idea of the regulars but also people who might not comment a lot but make brilliant points when they do.

I think there's much less of a popularity cult than there once was (*looks pointedly at the graves of dappled and flutterhigh*), but there's still quite a few faces you see every day.
Shuggy, kingofcarrotflowers, disthing, bugsforbreakfast, (.)(.)boobies, cuntsiclestick, and dirtybirdy are currently active and they're very in this season. There are plenty of others too, but I can't mention everyone :)
We'll I'm fairly new here, but "mountain-man82" just sounds like an old wise man who has existed for a long time here

There's about 40-50 of us regulars on here it seems. At least 20 that are here several times a week.
Most of the old guard of IIN have either fallen in battle or had enough sense to move on
They allll come crawling back in the end.
When their friends abandon them, and they can't get that stubborn stain off their bed sheets, and their parents die in a freak chimney accident, and they look at the pictures they drew when they were 8 of themselves grown up as big strong firemen and then look at the photo of themselves now, next to their novelty coffee mug in a grey cubicle of an office filled with broken dreams and computer screens...
...They realise the only constant in their lives, the only thing they can truly rely on... are the endless questions about masturbatory habits on IIN.
Since the old guards are gone, who's going to protect everybody from the Strawberry Flavored Cecropia Caterpillars that are planning on stealing everybody's lunches?!

I feel like I have been on here longer than I have, this site can wear you thin. I don't comment as much as I use to. Though I prefer looking at topics more than commenting anymore. Many people do give good comments on here, even though there are the ones who just want to comment to comment.

Only one other than myself I could think of is Shuggy and Lc, although LC doesn't come here much anymore. Shame.
I was almost popular at one point, I'm not very old here, my fame has dwindled but I'm still recognized. Kind of like a soap opera actress that had a part as the hitman and now plays a janitor. But hey, I'm still an actress. =>

Anyways, dinz is a very old user. Click on maybe 5 or so top-commented posts of the week and I guarantee you'll easily figure out who the "famous" users on here are.
I've seen a lot of regulars here, but putting them all in one list in one shot would be tricky.
Make a question more inteligente, please. If there is a celebrity among us he (or she) would be so stupid to discover his or her identity? It's anonymous site, don't you know it?
