Is it normal windows 8 picture set up is so confusing

Windows 8 was something I needed to figure out. Even the changing the keyboard to the right English was a challenge. I have figure out everything else but the picture app is starting to irritate me.

At first it only saved pictures I made in paint which was fine I use paint. However it switched to paint and stopped saving downloads(pics I save online). In windows 7 all pictures saved to the computer went to the same spot. However this is apparently not the case here. I changed the setting to "Include" the downloads in the library.

However apparently that has kicked out my "Microsoft paint photos". So if I make something in paint it will show up in photos but to put it in photos I have to transfer it to the Downloads folder. Meaning that paint will no longer recognize it as existing in my computer.

Unless I upload it on a site, save it back, and have two copies on my computer. I don't want to waste time making multiple copies of the same picture over and over. IF it was different edits I am saving them for a reason. However multiple copies is a waste of space and the process I have to go through every-time is annoying. Could someone please give me some advice on how to fix this little issue? I figured out everything else online or in help forums. Can someone please help me?

Yes is it normal for Windows 8 to be annoying and counter-intuitive.

And some people are like: "My grandma can use it. My mother uses it."

This is the problem with their fucking interface. I ran Windows 8 in a Virtual Machine. It took me a Google search, an article to figure out how to CLOSE AN APPLICATION. It will take you some time and research to do mundane tasks.

Use Google to find an answer and goodluck with that.

Windows 8 sucks. I've worked with it once, but I hurried back to Windows 7. Thousand times better!
