Is it possible to get genital herpes without ever had sex?

I just noticed my right labia majora enlarged and the left side stayed the same. At first I felt a sharp itching spot on my labia majora, and when I checked what it was, it felt like a bug bite, so I thought it probably was a bug bite.
But then I googled it and all I see is people saying it can be herpes.
It just tingles a little, especially when i touch it, but it doesn't hurt, just feels kind of sore. And it doesn't hurt when I pee or anything. What could it be? I'm so worried right now T___T

I had oral sex btw, but it was ages ago and I know my bf doesn't have herpes.

    You can catch it from oral sex if your bf had an outbreak of simplex 1, but it's unlikely. It could be a bunch of things- irritation, a cyst, an actual bug bite.

    But you'll need to rule out herpes and any other type of STI before you engage in any type of sexual contact with anyone.

    You need to see a doctor. If you're too young to go on your own, and If you're not comfortable telling a parent, have a friend go with you to planned parenthood- it should be cheap enough for you to get a STI panel.

    It's probably not herpes, but you're going to worry until you find out, so go and find out asap!

    Ok don't panic. Im crazy paranoid about bumps and things down there. Funny story the exact same thing happened to me! I freaked out, ran straight to the doctor and she laughed at me bc my mystery bump was an ingrown hair! 99:1 that's what is going on. I'd say book an appointment with the doc and/or keep an eye on it for a week.
