We all know that there are people who perpetuate their own stereotypes (generally racial, though there are also plenty of gender stereotypes being demonstrated).
Is it racist to comment on such stereotypes, even if they're true?

Stereotype: All Americans are fat, lazy slobs.
Truth: A particular person that you see is American is a fat, lazy slob.
That's neither racist nor a stereotype as long as you don't generalize it towards other people.
Not racist at all but its just that dumbass "politically correct" people love label stereotype truths as "racist"
Like for example statistics have shown that Asians have higher IQs than Whites on average, its considered okay to say this. But if you say Whites on average have higher IQs than Blacks you're a "racist" WTF?!
Only if they are unflattering and aimed at homosexuals or non-whites. The reverse seems to be true for white heterosexual males.
Yep, unfortunatly it's true.
But, God forbid if a white, heterosexual male says anything that's true at the expense of others.
Calling a black person black is true, however many would also deem it racist to call a person black. So yes.

No but you have to be really careful how you say it, or people will quite reasonably get the wrong idea.
