Woman = singular. One woman.

Women = plural. Two or more women.

You get this right with man and men. Is it really so complicated to get it right for woman/women?

    I think that this should be evident for people who speak and write english all their lives but I understand that there are some people for whom this is a foreign language and they are still learning it.

    I learnt english at school so it doesn't surprise me when some people confuse except when english is the maternal language of those people.

      Most people I see do it on IIN say they are from English sspeaking countries.

        You're right, most of the IIN user are from English speaking countries. I think that I'm one of the exception - I'm talking of the regular IIN users. There are lots of new words I've learnt here like slut. I didn't know about this until I landed here.
